Michael Blose, the two time defending 12-inch expert class champion will debut the new Braaap USA superlite motorcycle at the 2011 GEICO AMA MiniMotoSX, presented by Monster Energy. This new motorcycle comes from Australia, where the brand has already established a great reputation. So now, Braaap will tackle the US market with a huge effort consisting of a first class team of top riders, distribution and officially joining the MiniMotoSX as a presenting sponsor.

Jarryd McNeill, the Australian freestyle sensation that earned a Silver medal at the 2010 X Games will join Blose on a Braaap superlite along with four more riders that are being recruited now. Brad Smith, the founder of Braaap and a former Australian Mini Supercross Champion will also be competing in Vegas. The team will have the backing and logistical support of Marcos Ambrose, the driver of the #9 Stanley backed Richard Petty motorsports NASCAR Sprint Cup team. Ambrose is a mini bike enthusiast himself and rides a Braaap both for fun and cross-training when he’s not tackling the Sprint Cup circuit.
“It is very exciting to have a new brand of bike entering the US mini bike market, especially since Braaap has a proven formula and great backing from Marcos Ambrose, who obviously knows how to go racing” stated Lance Bryson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Source Interlink. Bryson continued by saying that “Braaap is going to bring a new level of excitement to the GEICO AMA MiniMotoSX as they challenge some of the established teams and that will help everybody step up their game.”
Make your plans now to head out to Vegas for Monster Energy AMA Supercross weekend a little early so you can catch the Friday night show.
