KYMCO USA will join an international Who’s Who of motorsports as one of the major OEM participants in the full schedule of 2007-08 Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows.
As part of the IMS circuit, KYMCO will be on display in 13 cities nationwide, beginning in Phoenix in October 2007 and ending in Chicago in February 2008. Stops in between include Houston, Fort Worth, San Mateo, Seattle, Long Beach, New York, Novi (Michigan), Washington DC, Atlanta, Cleveland, and Minneapolis.
“We are very pleased to have KYMCO USA on board for the upcoming season of the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows presented by Toyota ,” said Group Show Director Jeff D’Entremont. “Our shows offer the perfect platform for consumers to see what’s new and what’s next in the powersports market. The addition of KYMCO USA and their complete line of scooter and ATV products are the perfect compliment to our already impressive OEM lineup.”
Last year nearly 600,000 powersports enthusiasts from across the country turned out at these shows to see the hottest new motorcycles, custom bikes, ATVs, and scooters. IMS shows also serve as the central location for innovations in motorsports services and aftermarket products.
“Being part of IMS is important to our credibility and visibility in the industry,” said KYMCO USA VP Sales and Marketing, Bruce Ramsey. “Through the Cycle World shows we are going to really drive home the reliability, affordability and styling of our growing product line.”
Attendees at the San Mateo and Long Beach IMS venues will be able to actually ride KYMCO scooters and motorcycles at the Manufacturers’ Demo Ride center outside the exhibit hall. Experts from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation will be on hand to lead and tail demo riders and answer any questions about safety.
