U.S. House subcommittee to consider banning riding on 9.4 million acres

In a surprise move, the chairman of a U.S. House subcommittee has scheduled a hearing for next week on a proposal that would ban off-highway motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), and bicycles from more than 9 million acres of public land in Utah, the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) reports.

Team Rockstar / Makita / Suzuki / Yoshimura's Dustin Wimmer clinched the 2009 ATV Motocross Championship in the first moto of the last round of the 2009 ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship. The defending champion's fourth place overall secured his second crown in front of cheering fans at Loretta Lynn's MX track in Hurricane Mills, TN.

Jagged X RZR Takes “Vegas to Reno ”

For the third year in a row, Jagged X and their No. 1919 RANGER RZR S dominated Best in the Desert’s “Vegas to Reno , The Long Way” race. The No. 1919 desert race team not only finished but took first place honors in what is credited as being the longest off road race in the United States . The team finished the race in 30 hours and 29 minutes, 15 minutes faster than the second place finisher.
