Polaris Announces 2012 Race Teams and Contingency

 With the new release of the Kawasaki Teryx 4, Long Travel Industries (LTI) was one of the first companies to get their hands on the new platform from Kawasaki. It didn't take the team at LTI long to dive into the Teryx 4 and develop a long travel platform for the car. In typical LTI fashion the boxed arm kit for the Teryx 4 kit is 5 inches wider per side increasing the stance 10 inches overall and adds an additional 1 3/4 inches to the wheelbase as well.

Frederick won his second straight WORCS event and Zimmerman earned his first career WORCS podium. The two racers also recently teamed up to win the Pro class on the Can-Am DS 450™ at the 2012 SCORE San Felipe 250 in Mexico

Wienen Edges Out Natalie in Georgia ATVMX Season Opener

The 2012 AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series kicked off at Aonia Pass MX Park in Washington, Ga., providing some of the best racing in series history, pitting the fastest ATV Motocross racers in the country against one another for two twenty-plus minute motos. After an eight-month hiatus from racing due to a season ending injury in 2011, Wienen Motorsports/SSi/Walsh/Yamaha-backed Chad Wienen began the season in a winning fashion, going (1-1) for the overall and the early points lead.

Can-am Off-Road racers Win In the Desert

Can-Am off-road racing teams posted class victories in two different desert racing events. Derek Murray piloted the Murray Motorsports’ Can-Am Commander 1000 to victory at the Henderson 250 in the Best in the Desert series in Nevada. The four-man team of Carl Vella, Mike Penland, Rick Matteson and Ryan Robey teamed to ride a Can-Am Outlander 800R ATV to a class win at the 44th Annual 2011 SCORE Baja 1000 desert race in Ensenada, Mexico.

 The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and event promoter North American Action Sports (NAAS) have announced a new date and venue for the 2012 AMA Ice Race Grand Championships, which will crown the AMA's first amateur champions of the year. The amateur championship event will take place Feb. 4-5 at the Sugarbush Golf and Country Club with racing to take place on Potters Lake in Davison, Mich.
